Farewells and HELLO ...

Some of those farewells in life, have been trips on waterways, a river in North Cornwall and a canal in London. I have been on and in various waters growing up and into my adulthood. I am sad I have not continued this ... but again that will happen on returning to the coast ...

As I have stated time and again, water has been a big part of my life. I am the only water orientated person left, presently in my circle.

My heart is melting towards the estuary and coast now I am on my own. I would like to get on the saddle again, and trike to Padstow or Bodmin to get my status to do these activities again. In the meantime, moving the items here with be the start of getting some shape once again.

The swimming pools at both primary and secondary besides all other access to water sports living near the coast and a river brings, gave me the love for the water. At school I was literally swimming before during and after school at times.

The sea commands respect with the tides, currents, and listening and looking out for those flags on the beach. The coastguard is not on the emergency services answer response, as standard. We are literally surrounded by water. Yet like the mountain rescue, little is mentioned about the various terrains, outside of the populated areas.

I still have to tweak this as with all that is in my life ...

this was born out of my recovery travels. I have lived near water or rail or both for the majority of my life. I keep attempting my different interests, but I seem to come back to words or images. I thought as I enjoy Geography and History for as long as I can remember, and that water is such a fundamental part of all our lives. I thought I attempt a specialist subject that is so wide and varied ...

We will see how this goes...
